Create a job, assign partners, compose the checklist and activate.
Follow these four steps
1
Create the job
Start from an order, or create a job directly. Pick export or import, the transport mode, and the trade lane — the job starts in draft with no checklist yet.
2
Assign your team & partners
Assign a role — CHA, freight forwarder, bank, importer ops and more — to either an internal teammate or an external partner. Assigning your first role moves the job from draft to planning.
3
Compose the checklist
Preview the checklist the engines will generate for this job’s lane, Incoterms and cargo. Mandatory items are locked, but you can add optional steps and assign an owner to each one before activating.
4
Activate
Activation validates the job, builds the real checklist from your compose-time choices, and the job goes live. From here, milestones move from blocked to in-progress to approved as your team and partners complete their steps.
Why compose before activating?
The preview in step 3 runs the exact same pipeline activation uses, then rolls the database back — so what you see in preview is exactly what you get once the job goes live. Nothing drifts between the two.
