Log a payment milestone against an order and reconcile it against a bank reference.
Record your first payment
1
Set the payment terms on your quotation
Write your schedule into the quotation's Payment clause — for example "30% advance, 70% against BL." This is where the terms originate.
2
Confirm finance
Once the order reaches Finance Confirm, that clause is read automatically and turned into a one-time set of payment milestones — instalments you can track against.
3
Mark a payment received
When your buyer pays an instalment, open the order's Finance tab and mark that milestone received, with the date and a bank reference. FIRC/BRC numbers are optional at this step.
4
Track job finance separately
A trade job's own duty, RoDTEP and LC obligations are tracked on its own financial track — visible on the same Finance page, but not linked record-for-record to your payment milestones.
This isn't a payment gateway
There's no checkout link or card/UPI collection built into orders — recording a payment here means marking that money has already arrived by bank wire, LC or similar, not collecting it through TradeEximOS.
