Build a workflow that reacts automatically to a form or campaign event.
Follow these steps
1
Start a new automation
In Business Automation, create a new automation and give it a name — something like "Score hot clickers" or "Notify sales on a big enquiry".
2
Choose the trigger event
Under "This happens", pick the event that should start it — a form being submitted, a link being clicked, a lead being created, and more. Each event shows a note on exactly what it covers, since a broad-sounding event can fire for every instance of that thing, not just one.
3
Add conditions, if you need them
Under "If", narrow the automation to only the occurrences that matter — a specific lead source, or a field crossing a threshold. Leave it empty to match every occurrence of the event.
4
Add the steps to run
Under "Then", add steps from the palette — create or update a lead, create an opportunity, notify your team, adjust a lead’s score, add or remove someone from a list, or call a webhook. The palette greys out any step the chosen event can’t support.
5
Save and switch it on
Saving checks the automation the same way it will actually run, so any problem that would stop it from firing shows up immediately, not after it silently never runs. Flip Active on when you’re ready.
Validation is not a guess
The check that runs while you build an automation is the same one that runs it live — what you see is exactly what would stop it from firing, not an approximate preview.
