Social Publishing
Connected accounts, post scheduling, and per-network publishing rules.
What it is
Social Publishing covers four platforms — LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X and Instagram. Every post carries the platform, the connected account it went out from, its text, any media and hashtags, a visibility setting, a status, and — once the platform reports back — an engagement summary of likes, comments, shares and views.
Connecting an account
Each platform is connected separately, per brand, through Connectors — an OAuth flow that produces a connector you can test, refresh, or disconnect independently of any other account. How many accounts you can connect is governed by your plan's entitlements.
Two ways to publish
Direct compose is the fast path for a single post right now — for LinkedIn, it takes the post text, a visibility (public, connections, or logged-in members), and an optional article link, image, or video. A workflow's social post step is built for scale: it selects one or more connected accounts per platform, and its editor enforces that platform's character limit as you write.
Status and tracking
- 1
Draft
Saved but not yet sent to the platform. - 2
Scheduled
Queued through a workflow for a future time. - 3
Published
Live on the platform — carries the platform’s own post id and URL. - 4
Failed
The platform rejected or could not accept the post; the error is recorded on the post.
Note
All Social Posts aggregates every post across platforms and statuses, with totals by platform, by status, and combined engagement — so you don't have to check each connected account separately.Related
