Campaigns
Audience segmentation, campaign types, scheduling and engagement tracking in full detail.
What it is
A Campaign is a container with a title, an objective, a duration in days, and a target audience — primary, secondary, or both. It can optionally carry a business-goal horizon (short/mid/long term) and a list of the user needs it addresses. On its own a campaign does nothing — the work happens in the workflow(s) you link to it.
Audience lists (segments)
Marketing Lists (the Segment model) hold the leads a campaign reaches. A list is either dynamic or static:
A list reports its own member_count, plus a breakdown of how many members matched the filter versus were added manually. The same lists are reused as the audience for email campaigns.
Campaign lifecycle
- 1
Draft
The default status when a campaign is created. Nothing is running yet. - 2
Active
Launching a draft campaign moves it here — its linked workflows can now act. - 3
Paused / Resumed
An active campaign can be paused, then resumed later without losing its configuration. - 4
Completed / Archived
An active campaign can be marked complete when its work is done; a campaign can be archived at any point except once it is already completed or archived.
Linked workflows
Each campaign can have one or more linked workflows — a content workflow or an email_nurture workflow — built as a node canvas. Nodes include a trigger, content, send, wait and condition steps, plus steps that update a lead, add or remove list membership, post to social accounts, or call a webhook; edges between nodes can carry their own condition. The campaign's workflows_count reflects how many are attached.
Templates are shared
Reusable message templates (email, WhatsApp or SMS, each with a subject/body and named variables) are managed separately from any one campaign and can be published for reuse across many campaigns.Related
